How We Decide What the Roof Needs

Repair it when a repair will hold

We replace damaged shingles, flashing, pipe boots, ridge caps, and vents when the rest of the roof is still sound. You will not be pushed into a new roof you do not need.

Replace it when patching is a waste

If the deck is soft, hail damage covers more than one slope, or the shingles are failing across the roof, we tear it off, check the deck, and install new underlayment, flashing, and shingles.

Photos and a written estimate first

You see what we see. The estimate explains the work and the project total before we start. No surprise add-ons at the end.

Built for North Texas weather

Hail, high wind, and summer heat are hard on a roof. We install systems that stand up to granule loss, wind uplift, and sun damage.

Clean, on-time crews

We protect your landscaping, show up when scheduled, and run a magnet sweep for nails before we leave. We are licensed and insured.

A Repair That Stops the Leak

A small leak does not stay small. Wind and hail can lift shingles, crack a pipe boot, or push water under the flashing. We find the source, not just the stain on the ceiling, then make the fix that lasts. Most repairs are done in one visit, and we match the existing materials as closely as we can.

What we repair

  • Missing, cracked, or lifted shingles after wind or hail
  • Granule loss and bruising from hailstorms
  • Failed pipe boots and vent seals
  • Loose or rusted flashing at chimneys, walls, and skylights
  • Ridge cap and valley problems
  • Emergency temporary tarp installation when storms hit hard

Signs You Should Call

  • Water stains on a ceiling or wall after rain
  • Shingles on the ground or in the yard
  • A pile of granules in the gutters
  • A drip around a chimney, wall, or skylight
  • Daylight showing through the attic

When the Roof Should Be Replaced

If the roof is old, hail-bruised across more than one slope, or still leaking after earlier repairs, another patch usually will not hold. We tear off the old shingles, check the deck, replace soft wood, and install new underlayment, flashing, and shingles made for hail, wind, and heat.

Impact-resistant shingles are an option if you want better hail performance and a possible discount on your insurance.

A replacement is usually the better fix when

  • The roof is about 15 to 20 years old, or older
  • Hail or wind damage on more than one slope
  • Soft, sagging, or repeatedly patched decking
  • Curling, bald, or brittle shingles over a large area
  • Leaks that come back after an earlier repair
  • A sale coming up, and buyers will ask about the roof

Where We Work

Fort Worth roofs take spring hail, high wind, hard summer heat, and heavy rain. Older homes in Arlington Heights and the Cultural District, shaded lots in Ridglea Hills and Tanglewood, and newer houses on the west and north sides all deal with that weather. These are the areas we work in most often.
